Become a Volunteer Tutor
Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer tutor with Kamloops Partner Assisted Learning (KPAL).
Our program supports adults in building confidence and achieving their goals by offering one-on-one or small group support. KPAL goes beyond literacy, numeracy, and digital skills, empowering learners to improve communication, prepare for employment, upgrade academic qualifications, and build essential life skills such as goal setting, time management, and community engagement.

Our learners include seniors, English language learners, newcomers to Canada, and individuals facing barriers such as incarceration, addiction recovery, brain injuries, low income, or marginalization.
KPAL is dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
